FLAYOSC, the first gateway to the Haut Var, is ideally situated between the sea and the Verdon.Our superb region, the Dracénie, offers a privileged holiday setting...Here, no traffic jams but peace and quiet, a green setting, superb medieval villages, magnificent walks, exceptional wine estates, rivers and lakes for refreshing breaks, Provençal markets, local produce...Here, we take the time to live under the sun and the azure blue sky to the rhythm of the cicadas' song!Here is an overview of the main points of interest in our region. FLAYOSC, Medieval village

FLAYOSC is a charming hilltop village of 4,500 inhabitants with many shops and restaurants. Typically Provencal with its many fountains and wash houses, church and narrow streets, it enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters and is protected from the winds by the surrounding Maures and Esterel massifs. It is also a lively village with many events all year round and a Provencal market on Monday mornings. FLAYOSC, gourmet village Our village has a dozen restaurants for all budgets. TOURTOUR , the village in the sky, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, offers a superb panorama, a beautiful square shaded by plane trees...

VILLECROZE , classified village of character of the Var with its superb lanes, its park, its waterfall and its troglodytic caves.

SILLANS LA CASCADE , a pretty medieval village famous for its waterfalls of 42 meters, the basins where it is good to refresh oneself in the summer. LORGUES , a pretty town known for its Tuesday market, one of the largest in Provence, its wine estates and its famous restaurant "Chez Bruno". DRAGUIGNAN offers a cinema, a theatre, the museum of popular arts and traditions, the museum of art and history and the artillery museum.

LES ARCS SUR ARGENS , a magnificent medieval city with its fortified gates, its ramparts, its castle and its narrow streets.

LE THORONET , famous for its 13th century Cistercian abbey which attracts thousands of visitors every year.
